Choir Practice
Immanuel Lutheran is a singing congregation with a small choir of amazing voices. Director Dan Aadland is eager for more voices to join in praise of our Savior, especially as we look ahead to our Christmas Choral Service in mid-December. Come. Make a joyful noise onto the Lord.
Bible Study
We gather in the Parish Hall every Sunday for coffee and Bible Study in a relaxing environment. Focus is usually on a selected book of the Old or New Testament. Discussion is led by Pastor Judy. New insights into the context and meaning of the scriptures are uncovered as we examine God’s Word (currently studying Martin Luther and the Reformation). Everyone is welcome.
PET PARADE, Ladies' Tea
Bring a PHOTO of your furry companion to share with your friends: Who Knows, there may be prizes! Rather than a Gift Exchange among the ladies, we ask that you bring a gift (pet food, pet toy, monetary donation) for the animal shelters. We will have a speak and treats to share.
Choir Practice
Our adult choir practices its music for worship and special events. We welcome new singers always. A variety of anthems, spirituals, hymns, and gospel songs are sung in four-part harmony.
Mid Week Advent Soup Supper
Our last mid-week gathering of this Advent Season allows us to enjoy good food, fellowship, and , before our final Mid-week Advent worship.

We begin our study of the time of preparation for the Savior, both past and present, led by Pastor Judy.

Reformation Worship Service
Celebrating the anniversary of Martin Luther’s 95 Theses, with traditional Liturgical Worship, Word and Sacrament.

Funeral Service for Jeanette Ostrum
We gather to honor the life of Jeanette Ostrum and to commit her to the Lord, the source of all life and salvation.

Sunday Worship and Ordination of Pr. Judy Manweiler
This Sunday’s traditional divine service will include the ordination of Pastor Judy as she is officiallly vested as a minister in Christ’s church. This is a first in the 130 year history of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. Dr. Chris Croghan, Chief Academic Officer of Luther House of Study, Sioux Falls, S.D., will lead the service, the rite of ordination, and deliver the Proclamation of the Good News. All are welcome.
To Christ belongs glory and dominian now and forever. The light of Christ, rising in glory, dispels the darkness of our hearts and minds. Thanks be to God.
